PADI
PADI-duikers hebben de meest gerespecteerde en gewilde duikbrevetten ter wereld. Waar je ook wilt gaan duiken, je PADI-brevetpas wordt herkend en geaccepteerd. Sterker nog: op de meeste duikavonturen zul je worden omringd door andere PADI-duikers die dezelfde keus maakten voor hun brevettering als jij – een opleiding volgen bij de grootste en meest gerespecteerde organisatie voor duikopleidingen ter wereld.
Het verschil in opleidingen
PADI-cursussen zijn zo opgezet dat deze het leerproces plezierig en de moeite waard maken. Je gaat snel het water in om te gaan duiken. Onder begeleiding van je professionele PADI Instructor bouw je vertrouwen op terwijl je belangrijke veiligheidsconcepten en vaardigheden aanleert. Je pikt belangrijke informatie en handige tips op door met PADI-lesmateriaal te werken - handboek, video's, werkboeken, multimediaschijfjes, enz. PADI-lesmateriaal wordt ontwikkeld met gebruik van supermoderne technologie en onderwijskundige modellen waarbij jij, de cursist, centraal staat.
Jouw PADI Instructor zorgt ervoor dat je klaar gestoomd wordt voor je brevet; dit gaat op basis van het concept van prestatiegericht leren. Dit betekent dat je vordert als je demonstreert dat je aan specifieke uitvoeringsvereisten voldoet die voor duikers van wezenlijk belang zijn. Je instructeur is bij je en helpt je aan deze vereisten te voldoen, onafhankelijk van hoe snel of langzaam je ze onder de knie krijgt. Je moet een PADI-brevet verdienen, maar dat doe je in een stimulerende leeromgeving onder goede begeleiding.
De ongeëvenaarde kwaliteit van het lesmateriaal van PADI en de didactische waarde van PADI-cursussen is erkend door onafhankelijke, internationale onderwijskundige en beroepsgerichte opleidingsorganisaties. The Amerikaanse onderwijsraad (ACE) en de Canadian Learning Bank hebben allebei PADI-cursussen beoordeeld en aanbevolen voor college credit, een studiepuntensysteem. PADI-instructeursopleidingen die in scholen worden gegeven die aangesloten zijn bij PADI zijn erkend voor hun beroepsopleiding door de Vocational Education Training and Accreditation Board (VETAB) in Australië, door de New Zealand Qualification Authority en in het Verenigd Koninkrijk door de National Qualification Framework.

TDISDI
SDI was created in 1999 and grew out of the success of our sister company TDI, which specializes in the more advanced
disciplines of dive training.
Both students and instructors have embraced the no nonsense approach that the SDI training system offers. We have streamlined the course materials to let students study the essential academics with an emphasis on practical diving skills learned in both the pool and open water environments. SDI is the only agency to require students to be taught with modern dive computers from the onset of training.
SDI course materials are state-of-the-art; the materials are lavishly illustrated with photography and graphics.

CMAS
On the 28th of September 1958, delegates from the following Federations: Federal Republic of Germany, Belgium, Brazil, France, Greece, Italy, Monaco, Portugal, Switzerland, the United States of America and Yugoslavia met in Brussels on the occasion of the congress of the independent International Confederation gathering all underwater disciplines.
With this aim, a meeting was held in Monaco on January 9, 10 and 11, 1959 and a decision to establish the "World Confederation of Underwater Activities" in brief "C.M.A.S.", was taken.
This Confederation succeeded, specifically in regard to all functions and responsibilities, the "Comité des Sports Sous-Marins" (Underwater Sports Committee) of the International Confederation of Sport Fishing founded on the 22nd of February 1952.
